Here you will find information about me, my work, and new and upcoming works-in-progress. I'm skilled in a range of media services, including videography, editing, graphic design, writing, and media management.
Additionally, I've grown quite fond of the wonderful (and wild) world of filmmaking. It has been a longtime dream of mine to write and direct my own feature film, and so far, I'm off to a pretty good (albeit relatively gradual) start.
As a result, I formed "Sharpshooter Media" back in 2007 as my freelancing moniker. Since then, I've worked on various short films, music videos, reality shows, and documentaries, in either a directing, writing, producing, or director of photography capacity.
No project is ever too big or too small, too ordinary or too outlandish. Regardless of the scope, I've had the pleasure of working for (or with) the following media outlets: MUN 2/NBC-UNIVERSAL DISCOVERY CHANNEL CARTOON NETWORK ANIMAL PLANET USC ONLINE MTV TRES DISNEY BRAVO BET A&E CNN HGTV SONY EBONY.COM ESSENCE.COM THE DIY NETWORK HISTORY CHANNEL FINE LIVING NETWORK THE AFRICA CHANNEL
FLASHBACK:
AT THE CHANNEL
As noted later on my 'WORK' page, I created an entertainment video news magazine of sorts, for the sole effort of promoting the little known (or completely untold) stories and events specifically involving African Americans and Africans in the diaspora.
AT THE CHANNEL - which was named after the headquarters (and 'source') of such promotion - was born to be that voice. Infused with a digestible blend of news, entertainment, fun and informative factoids, and a touch of comedy, ATC was not only a bi-weekly way to catch up on all things African, it was also just a fun and meaningful project I had the pleasure (and freedom) to produce.
